Jasper Stone Pendent Necklace on silver chain

A simple pendent that can be worn on its own or part of a collection as shown in the pictures. This necklace can be worn all year round with casual or formal outfits, summer or winter. The Jasper stone is smooth to the touch & is very tactile, the silver plated chain has a small claw fixing. Jasper means spotted or speckled stone and is derived from the Latin ‘iaspidem’, or the Old French ‘jaspre’. The speckles/shapes are caused by the inclusion of mineral, ash, or sediment within the structure of the crystal. Jasper is found all over the world but most specimens come from India or Australia. This collection of Jasper jewellery can be worn on its own or as statement can be worn with all other jasper necklaces. To be honest it makes a statement all of its own.
